App Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Phoenix Protocol. This Privacy Policy explains how we collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal and health data of our users. This policy applies to both the clients and the coaches using the Phoenix Protocol mobile application and our associated website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when creating an account and using the platform:
- Account Data: Your name, email address, and login credentials.
- Health and Nutrition Data (Clients): Dietary logs, macronutrient and caloric intake, body weight, fitness goals, dietary restrictions, and water intake.
- Professional Data (Coaches): Certifications, coaching specialties, and client rosters.
- Device and Analytics Data: IP addresses, operating system type, crash logs, and general usage data to improve application performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To operate and maintain the Phoenix Protocol application.
- To facilitate personalized nutrition coaching and tracking.
- To enable in-app communication between clients and their respective coaches.
- To troubleshoot bugs, enhance security, and deploy system updates.
- To process subscriptions and secure payments.
4. Data Sharing and Coach-Client Access
Phoenix Protocol is designed to facilitate coaching relationships. The sharing of health and nutrition data is governed by the following rules:
- Explicit Consent: Clients must explicitly opt-in to connect with a specific coach. By establishing this connection, the client grants that coach permission to view their inputted health, nutrition, and progress data.
- Scope of Access: Coaches can only view the nutrition logs, goals, and progress metrics of clients who have actively accepted their coaching request. Coaches cannot access a client's account settings, passwords, or personal payment information.
- Revoking Access: Clients retain full control over their data and can sever the connection with a coach at any time within the app settings. Revoking this connection immediately removes the coach's access to the client's historical and future nutrition data.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure to securely host and process data. These services include:
- Cloud Hosting and Database: We utilize Supabase for secure database management and user authentication, alongside Railway for cloud hosting infrastructure.
- Payment Processing: Financial transactions are securely handled through our independent cloud-hosted payment module. We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.
- Marketing and Analytics: Basic usage data may be processed via our Next.js marketing website architecture to monitor site traffic and user engagement.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and health information. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the production database is strictly limited to authorized personnel. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. User Rights and Data Deletion
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information.
- Account Deletion: You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated health data directly within the app settings or by contacting our support team. Upon request, all personal data will be permanently erased from our active databases.
- Data Portability: You may request a copy of your nutrition and progress data in a readable format.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. As we primarily service users within Egypt and the broader Gulf area, we ensure our data practices comply with the applicable regional data protection frameworks.
